This unconventional book is like a big plate of chicken and waffles – it's an unusual combination of literary flavors that shouldn't work together, but somehow does. Mixing together suspense, small-towns, and surrealism, Bone Gap is an endearingly-strange and quirky example of the Magical Realism genre that will either be a hit-or-miss with most readers.
