I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. One Kiss by Aleatha Romig is the sixth book in her stand-alone Lighter Ones series. As the name of the series suggest, this was a light, sweet, and angst free, age gap small town  romance.

This installment introduces Justin Sheers and Devan Dunn's love story. Having read the previous book featuring Justin's sister, I was eager for his story. The story takes place in Riverbend. Devan recently graduated from college, but was unsure of her next move. However, when she received a job offer to teach at the middle school in her hometown of Riverbend, she opted to take up the offer. After her interview she decides to attend the towns annual event incognito. While there she experienced the an amazing time. This was further enhanced with a kiss from her older brother's best friend.

Justin was so enamored by the mysterious beauty he encountered at the town's event he could not resist the urge to kiss her. Imagine his surprise when he discovered she was his best friend"s younger sister.

One Kiss delivered a charming,  light and an easy read, which can be read in one sitting. This drama free, slow burn romance with likeable characters will have you smiling throughout the story's duration. The story also delivered its share of humour and quirky moments.

Overall, I had a good time with One Kiss and I am eager to do a further exploration of the series. This review was originally posted on Totally Addicted to Reading
