Flynn, leader of the rebellion on Avon, captures Jubilee "Lee" Chase, captain of the forces sent to crush the terraformed planet's rebellious colonists, but later saves her and the two, caught between sides in a senseless war, flee together.
I liked this, but I didn't love it like I did These Broken Stars. I didn't click with the characters, story, or setting as much. I didn't feel like the characters had the same chemistry.
I did like the second half of the book more, particularly when we finally saw some characters from These Broken Stars make an appearance!
