This is a very short novella that I wish had been made into a full-length novella. When I was reading the previous books in this series, I was very intrigued by Zach and Nessa and I wanted to know more about them. I finally did and while the story was great, I wanted more of it. I feel like it might have been a bit rushed. This book is a very quick read. I read it in less than an hour. Even though it's a novella, it still was a very well-developed filled with humor and of course, some steamy scenes.

Zach is the type of guy that just sleeps around and doesn't like to settle down with just one woman. Nessa has fallen in love with him and it has been a year and still, she only feels like Zach treats her like his little sister. Nessa finally explodes and lets Zach knows that she hates being treated like a child, that she wants to be treated like a grown woman. Zach has a dirty secret and Nessa keeps asking questions about it, about why is there this specific woman visiting him each month. Zach hates lying to her but he wants his secret to stay just that, a secret. Zach is in love with Nessa but this secret of his is on the way—a secret that could ruin what they have.

I'm so happy that Nessa was the one to make a move and boy she owned that move. I will say that I considered her previous outbursts to be childish but then I realized that she had been holding her feelings inside and she just finally said, "No more." I think anyone in her position would burst one day. I'm glad that Zach and Nessa were very close friends. I love the friends-to-lovers kind of story. Not only did we get to read about these two, but characters from the previous story made an appearance and it was fun to read about them. Not only that, it gave an opening to New Blue, the fifth book in the Blue series.
