While discovering debuting authors, I'm always eager, cautious and intrigued with what to expect. Frankly, I had more butterflies and anticipation in the romantic scenes in "Doctor, Soldier, Daddy" than I expected, and that was really a nice surprise. There were some very swoon-worthy kisses... *sigh!* I thought even though it starts with a marriage of convenience, it ends with a happily ever after that made me smile. I even shed a tear or two (tender ones). Caro Carson has a great voice, and is excellent with details. I couldn't read it in one sitting, but I was always eager to get back and see how it would end!
I definitely recommend this Special Edition and I can't wait to read the next 2 MacDowell brothers in this series.
Caro Carson, come on down! You're the next author on my Favorite Authors List, because you got it right!
I received a free copy for my honest opinion and it was certainly a pleasure to write this review.
