This review was originally posted on Star Crossed Reviews I received this book for free for a Blog Tour in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.Thank you to Chapter by Chapter for letting me take part in this tour. I love fantasy books and I've been a big fan of YA fantasy so when I read the blurb I was intrigued.

Ana is a girl that, once she falls in love, can turn into a swan. I found the process of this quite bewildering. Not the fact that she could turn into a swan but there was this whole business with cloaks that I found strange.

It was quite obvious from the beginning that Pierce and Ana were meant to be together but Ana was just fighting it so hard that she couldn't see it yet.

Ana's family has had a blood feud with the Renards for generations. The feud has lasted so long no-one even knows why it started. This had hints to Romeo and Juliet and I think the author was heavily influenced by this story.

This was a good story with a really good twist but I think the Swan element could have done with a bit more development. It seemed everything they did was a little rudimentary and could do with an update to the 21st century but I enjoyed the book all the same.
