"Seducing Carma" is the first of the "Passion Peak, Colorado" series by Tara Rose, and she started it with a really great book. Carma, Mateo, and Blaine are all battling demons from their pasts. They're trying to handle them on their own, but they're having a very difficult time. Carma and Mateo find each other after years of avoiding their attraction. Blaine is a friend of Mateo's from his college years, and he's come to Passion Peak to start a new life. The three of them have a chemistry that is explosive and almost immediate once they're together. Add in the beginnings of what seems to be an ongoing mystery, and you get a story that will pull you in and keep you absorbed until the very end.

This book is extremely sexy. The love scenes are hot, and BDSM IS involved. There is impact play, toys, and anal elements. They're not heavy or overwhelming. I was not uncomfortable in the least. In fact, I felt the characters' trust in each other from the very beginningm, and of course, trust is the most important part of a BDSM relationship.

You'll be meeting characters who will show up in the books to follow. They seem like they'll be interesting and very instrumental to the continuing mystery that seems that will be carrying through the series. I found myself wishing that I lived in Passion Peak, and I think that others will as well. I highly recommend "Seducing Carma". It's a witty, clever, and well written story. I never expect anything less from Tara Rose.
