I knew I was going to LOVE Keeper of the Innocents as soon as I read the description and I did love it! This new story tells the tale of Demi, another young witch that has charges she needs to protect as well as Bryn, only her focus is little kids. Her charge is Renee, a young girl she babysits in her apartment building, which is where Demi meets Rhyzel, a half-human, half-demon teenager. Demi doesn't know what to make of this situation: vanquish him or trust him, knowing she could be betrayed by him one day.

Demi and Rhyzel's relationship (I love his name) is so interesting and dangerous which makes me love them even more! They are so perfectly imperfect together and their connection is spot on and hot!

By the way, I will try to not look in mirrors again after the explanation of mirrors I got in this story. It freaked me out! I'm seriously considering eliminating mirrors in my house. That was scary.

This story kept me up and wanting to read and read and read more. It kept growing intensity with every passing of a page and the ending couldn't have been more perfect. The ending...I was not expecting the major detail that was revealed to Demi on the LAST page and I hope the author writes that story on an epilogue of another book or as a novella because I will for sure love it and will be highly anticipating it.
