When I read the first book in this At home in Beldon Grove series I found it to be great writing but quite depressing, then the second book started on a sad note, but got much better and ended well. This is a series, but could easily be read as stand alone. The Dawn of a Dream is the third and absolute best in the series. Every friend that I have talked to has agreed. Yes there is a sadness, but it brings out more of an anger rather than a depression. Watching the characters grow through out the novel is entertaining and intriguing. I loved each and every page and every chapter. I highly recommend this book without hesitation and eagerly look forward to reading more from Ann Shorey in the future.
