Hooked on You

This was a first time read by Cathryn Fox and it wasn't quite what I was hoping for. I really loved small town setting in Nova Scotia and it makes me want to visit there some day. Plus, I just love romance stories set in a small town, pair that up with the group of hilarious fisherman, it's bound to be an interesting read.

For the first 20%, I was really loving everything. Great introduction to both characters and I love a good nerdy character. Kira was a mathematician and extremely smart, but I wasn't a fan of the low opinion that she had of herself. Definitely wasn't the kind of heroine that I generally like to read about, so I had trouble connecting with her.

Even though we go through the motions of Nate and Kira spending quite a bit of time together, I couldn't quite feel the chemistry between them. I can't exactly pinpoint why, but I didn't feel it at all.

Hooked On You is a cute small town romance that I think many will enjoy, I just need a bit more.
