The miniseries for Killmonger continues with this second issue. It’s been interesting seeing more of his character during the ‘between’ years, so to speak. We know a lot about what he’s like later on, of course, and we’ve been told some about his childhood. But the years in between? Other than getting a vague idea of his kill total that’s more or less an area they’ve left blank.
I can honestly tell you that while I pictured Killmonger working with countless agencies and less than reputable people…it never occurred to me that he may have actually crossed paths with Fisk. I don’t know why it never occurred to me as a possibility. I guess I just assumed that all of his missions were of the ‘secret government ops’ sort. My bad.
The conclusion for this issue was very much unexpected. I’m not actually sure who to root for here. Though if you really pressed me I’d say that I fully expect both characters to live (but none of the secondary characters, naturally). I guess I’ll have to wait and see though.
