Excellent read. This is the first book in this series that did not have a supernatural/paranormal element to the plot line and was instead a straightforward murder mystery - although there was nothing straight forward about this murder! LOTS of twists and turns, with a runaway ending, this book might be my favorite one yet. I like the way the author incorporates characters from Jane Austen's other books and I love the respect she shows for Jane Austen's characters as a whole. Nobody is going to be able to write Elizabeth and Darcy like Ms. Austen, but Ms. Bebris comes close - I always feel like I'm reading about the Ms. Austen's characters - not someone else's interpretation of them.

Looking forward to the next one.
