After that crazy cliffhanger from book one I was dying to dive into this book, and I was not disappointed. I enjoyed it a whole heck of a lot. Even more than the first. I was a little nervous about how it started out. I was worried we were going to have a book full of everyone hating on Gemma and chasing after Matthias. Luckily, that isn't what happened and we head very quickly into what I especially love about this entire series...the character interactions and the feeling of family this group has.

As is typical of these author's, the writing was fantastic. It was a fairly short book that took me around two hours to complete. It was told in a dual POV format. The plot was engaging and kept me turning the pages. There was a little angst at the start, but other than that this was a fairly easy peasy book relationship wise. There was no OW or OM drama. The sex scenes were hot and plentiful. As always, the secondary characters were awesome. I really hope Oscars duet is up next. AND...did I detect a little something with Andromeda and maybe Ian?? Both Gemma and Matthias were very likable and had a great on page chemistry as well. Last, it was all wrapped up in an OK HAPPY FOR NOW ending. Personally, I would have liked a bit more in that regard, but since we see these characters often in other books, I am going to assume we will be hearing more about their future in upcoming books. All in all, this was a great conclusion to a really great duet and a great addition to the series overall.
