An alternate world to Zoey’s world where everything is wrong? That’s not good.
Loved by PC and Kristen Cast was an excellent book for the ten-year anniversary of the House of Night Series, last year. This book has been on my TBR for a while now, and I am glad that I finally read it. It was nice to go back to this world; it made me feel like going home to visit all my friends again. There is a refreshing twist to the book, and I loved it. I hope everything turns out great in the end for Zoey and the Nerd Herd.
What I liked about this book:
- At the very beginning of it before the story, there is a way to reconnect with the characters and some questions were answered by the authors. I thought that was the best as it was a great refresher course without having to reread the House of Night series.
- There was a lot of different point-of-views similar to the House of Night books toward the end of the series, and I adore that. I think it helps us understand some of the hardships in this alternate world for the vampyres and fledglings.
- Having the Nerd Herd back is fantastic, and I hope everything works out for them in the end.
- This book is perfect for anyone to jump in the series here or for those of us that have read the first series to come back too.
What I disliked about this book:
What I disliked about this book was the fact that Zoey still doesn’t swear until she gets pissed. I also didn’t like the fact that she just stopped talking to her younger brother.
What I am curious about for the next book:
I am hoping that we can actually see the other world and that somehow it will get better.
Five Stars
Loved by PC and Kristin Cast is a superb book to celebrate the tenth anniversary of this world, and start us off with a new journey for Zoey and the Nerd Herd. This book kept me guessing, and I suprisingly liked it more than the first series. I can’t wait to read Lost and look forward to the other books that PC and Kristen Cast have in the works for this new series. My rating is five-stars since it kept me entertained and engaged. I wanted to know more about the characters and could not get them out of my mind. And I recommend Loved by PC and Kristin Cast to anyone that loves vampires.
Anyways until the next time enjoy this review brought to you by
