In this tale, we meet Blogger and nerd extraordinaire Ellie Richards’. She's ringing in the new year, and declaring, "That this year will be the year of Ellie." So far she has landed her dream job, one that will let her work from her home and even will speak at ComCon. She just needs someone to share it with, and sadly she is determined to play it safe in the romance department. She thinks setting the bar low will protect her heart. In route to a snow lodge, she hits a patch of ice and meets Officer Grayson.

The chemistry, banter, and awkwardness in Like Fresh Fallen Snow was delightful. These two bump into each other at the resort late that evening. Their attraction felt genuine, and their personalities just clicked, but there is only one problem. Matt is leaving for a new job in Seattle in a few days. The story that unfolds is perfect for those who believe in love at first sight. Wyatt managed to allow me to get to know and become invested in these characters despite the length of their story.

Like Fresh Fallen Snow was a mix of heat and tenderness. The perfect holiday romance.
