Thief of Lies by Brenda Drake

Thief of Lies (Library Jumpers, #1)

by Brenda Drake

Gia Kearns would rather spar with boys than kiss them. That is, until Arik, a leather clad hottie in the Boston Athenaeum, suddenly disappears. While examining the book of world libraries he abandoned, Gia unwittingly speaks the key that sucks her and her friends into a photograph and transports them into a Paris library, where Arik and his Sentinels-magical knights charged with protecting humans from the creatures traveling across the gateway books-rescue them from a demonic hound. Jumping into some of the world's most beautiful libraries would be a dream come true for Gia, if she weren't busy resisting forbidden love or dodging an exiled wizard seeking revenge on both the Mystik and human worlds. Add a French vixen obsessed with Arik and a flirtation with a young wizard, and Gia must choose between her heart and her head, between Arik's world and her own, before both are destroyed.

I been wanting to read this book for a long time the synopsis jumping into the worlds most famous libraries, a bad ass girl with powers no one seen in a long time, and a couple of hots guys usually makes for a great story and this one was awesome.

The book was done at the perfect pace slow build up to a action packed ending that left me ready to jump into book two which you will see up for review next month as i am a book blog tour for it. I excited to see where Gia goes as she learns more about this world she accidentally jumped into and how her unsuspecting family and friends will play into and oh what she going to do about the guy she suppose to marry -- according to a long standing tradition.
