It wasn't at all what I was hoping for.

Well, I finished it.

I wanted to be like the cool kids. There were some really good reviewers talking up this book, saying don't read the reviews, go in blind, it will grab you and won't let go.

Nope, nope and NOPE!!!!

I thought it was going to be like Black Lies where I would have to work out the mystery and fall in love with the characters. I did not like the characters at all and it was just a dark, sick and twisted tale. Definitely not a love story. There was no lightness to be found. I just wanted it to be over.

If you are happy to read a book with absolutely no lightness at all, then this is the book for you.
