Lady Claire is a very studious woman who loves numbers. Math makes more sense to her than being social or going to social events. When she goes to a social event, she talks about Math non-stop, which bores all the men. This is why she has been single all this time. When Lord Fox finds her Math discussions amusing, he pursues her, much to the shock of Lady Claire. You see, Lord Fox is a man who is used to winning and to getting what he wants, but his fiance leaves him. And later on, he agrees to a wager: turning Lady Claire into an acceptable woman of society, "the bell of the ton", or lose his most beloved dog. He can't afford to lose this time so his pursual of Lady Claire is even stronger now.

She was confusing and a challenge, but, he realized, she was a game he didn't want to stop playing.

I really enjoyed this opposites attract novel. I especially loved how Lady Claire didn't care for society's standards. She wasn't even interested in being courted. All her devotion and passion went to numbers. Lord Fox is the complete opposite. He could care less about numbers, but he kept being drawn to her, wager or no wager. And when Lady Claire found out, the way he went after her, trying to make things right was just so beautiful and swoony.

"Hate is passion. Love is passion. Sometimes people confuse the two."

The Cavendish siblings had me giggling a lot throughout the story. They are so close to each other and it shows a lot in the way they treat each other with respect. But they also have their funny, quirky and silly conversations that made me feel the sibling love they have for one another. Plus, they seek each other out for advice and I really liked that.

The only character I didn't like at all was Mowbray. He was so infuriating and at times didn't let me enjoy the story because I was so frustrated and irritated by him. He's supposed to be Lord Fox's friend but with friends like him, who needs enemies? He's the one that proposes the wager. He wants to beat Lord Fox at something and he figures this is the perfect way to do so. His eagerness to see his "friend" lose had me beyond mad.

Overall, Lady Claire Is All That is a light and fun book to read. It kept me entertained a lot. I wish a certain character hadn't been so frustrating, but I'm glad things turned out quite well.
