Styxx (Dark-Hunter, #22) (The Dark-Hunter World)

by Sherrilyn Kenyon

As the twin to Acheron, the hero who saved the human race centuries ago, Styxx hasn't always been on his brother's side. But with an Atlantean goddess bent on setting wrongs right, how do you find a way back from the darkness that wants to consume the entire world? One that wants to start by devouring your very soul?

I have no idea how to rate this yet. Really. The first four hundred pages could have been shaved down to maybe 75 and still gotten the plot and point across. It was like the world's longest prologue ever! And it was all suffer, suffer, suffer, betrayal, hate and more suffering. When it finally got to the 'real' action, it was really good though, and I'm happy I didn't DNF.
