A beautifully crafted debut with rich worldbuilding and strong writing! Rebecca did a wonderful job making me feel attached to Ember from page 1. I love the representation and diversity in the story as well. I understand the idea of being Fated to someone, but I did feel a bit of instalove between Ember and Noor, and would have liked a little more action and tension throughout the story. But I rooted for Ember all the way and the twists at the end were awesome! I listened to the audiobook version and loved the narrator. Looking forward to the sequel!
