I don't think I've ever been so disappointed in an ending of a story. It sucked. Well and truly sucked. I adored the Rylee series. I love Pam. This was not where I wanted this to go at all.

The first quarter was alright. Then it got weird. Then it got freaking crazy shit. And then it ended badly. I don't mind a villain. I don't mind a darker ending. But the way the character got there was just bullshit. First she sleeps with Alex but has no memory of it because hey guess what - it wasn't her, it was the witch who's possessing her. Second she sleeps with some random fucking guy that just appeared out of nowhere and was so totally unnecessary. Then she's FUCKING PREGNANT with that dude's child, she LIES to Alex and MANIPULATES HIS MEMORY to THINK THE FUCKING KID IS HIS. What kind of bullshit is this? I am angry. I'm invested. I've read a million fucking books. Good fucking books to get to this book and these last four books have not delivered.

I just wanted Pam and Alex to live happily ever after. Was that too much to ask for? Apparently so.
