"…E hele me ka pu'olo, and that means you make every person, place, or condition better than before, always."

Luke and Ellie's story continues with some frustrating twist and turns, a meddling family and their Hawaiian wedding.

Luke and Ellie are getting closer to their wedding date but Luke's brother seems to think that because they still are not yet married that Ellie is still fair game. As things get tenser with Luke's family and Ellie begins to think everything is a big mistake, Luke surprises her again and shows again that maybe he really does care. After an incident the night before the wedding, some secrets are revealed but even more secrets surface.

The Vegas Aces series is slowly driving me crazy. I am so invested in Luke and Ellie and want to know all the secrets that are still hidden about him and his family even though his family drives me completely insane. I can not stand most of them and their games. Ellie truly has a heart of gold and I hope that she does not get destroyed by everything. I wish we had dual pov for this series as I really want to know more about Luke and what he is thinking. The cliffhanger in this one did not surprise me too much but sets up for a lot of revelations to come.
