Parker had been betrayed by her husband, and had some trust issues after she found his cheating on her with his assistant. So, when Cooper begins showing interest, she isn't sure if she wants to embark on any sort of relationship with him. But, Cooper wasn't taking no for an answer, and he steamrolled his way into her life, and into her heart.

Things I Liked
• Parker, who put her roll as mother above all else
• Her kids. Her daughter was adorable, and her son was fiercely protective of his mom
• Cooper was all in and so good with the kids
• There is actual hockey played in the book
• Parker and Cooper had great chemistry
• The jump ahead ending was so sweet

What didn't work for me so much
• The ex-girlfriend plot. I understood its purpose, but I think it went on for too long
• This was probably leaning more erotica for me. There was A LOT of sex scenes, and I would have liked more of the story instead.

Overall: I enjoyed seeing Cooper and Parker fall in love, build a family, and find their happily ever after.
