At times heartbeaking but never demoralising, How to Be Happy takes us on a journey through the author's confused adolescence and young adulthood through to his eventual acceptance of himself. Fast paced without skimming over the big issues, How to Be Happy certainly tries to provide an answer to the statement in the title. And let me tell you, for a book that focuses quite heavily on mental health issues, How to Be Happy was surprisingly funny!
