My 8yo told me I "HAD to read this" little chapter book she's reading, so I did. And I loved it! This has a sweet storyline with a modern feel, lots of solid, interesting science info which feels like a natural part of the narrative, a dash of magic, and a ton of heart. The illustrations are adorable, and the writing is just lovely. I'm honestly surprised that, as an adult, I felt so engaged reading a chapter book. 😊
