Is this really the end of the Green Lanterns run? I haven’t found any issues following this one…but I suppose there’s no reason why it can’t be picked up again in the future. I guess in a way it does make sense, since the two leading characters of this series (Jessica and Simon) are both consistently getting pulled into event based plots. For example, going into this issue I knew that Jessica was in a situation very far from Earth, and frankly we don’t know when she’ll be coming back. But I still hope that the series will get picked up again. Maybe once things have calmed down a bit?
As far as endings go it wasn’t a bad one. It didn’t go out with a bang, so to speak, but it was still interesting. And it did wrap up all the major points they had going, which is a big deal to me (I hate unintentional cliffhangers).
What did everyone else thing of Jessica’s decision in the end? It makes sense, in that it ties perfectly with what’s happening in the other series, but does it fit her personality? I can see it, in a way. She’s been so sheltered, by her own phobias and decisions, so it’s only natural that once she gets some healthy coping mechanisms that she’d want to see more of the…well I was going to say world on reflex, but it’s really more of the universe in this case.
