X-Force (2018-) #1

I knew that they were going to do a new X-Force series from the moment that joke came up in Deadpool 2. And I was totally fine with that. Though to be honest I wasn’t really sure what to expect for the series. I knew it was going to be like what we saw in the movies, naturally. I suspected it’d be more similar to Mercs for Money than anything else.
This series follows the events of Extermination; I personally didn’t read all of that series (not because I didn’t want to, I missed an issue and before I knew it I was so far behind). Despite that I didn’t have any trouble figuring out what was happening here. So don’t let that fact put you off.
The team so far (we all know it’ll change here and there) consists of Domino, Canonnball, Shatterstar, Boom Boom, and Warpath. A new team member sort of gets added along the way as well, but I don’t want to spoil that bit for you.
On the whole it was fairly interesting. They had a lot of setting up to do, so they were bouncing all over the place. On the bright side that resulted with a facer paced start, which is always nice if you ask me (well, with established characters anyway).
