5 stars. No brainer.
I don’t know how I could write a review for this book that would do it justice. Historically speaking, Amy Harmon has a tendency to leave me sputtering, but in a good way of course.

*Deep breath*

Ok, some history first. I read Ms. Harmon’s book Running Barefoot in January. I stumbled upon it, I don’t even know how I found it and it was free on Amazon. That freaking book rocked my world and to this day, I remember feeling like I was floating around in a bubble as I read it. It just sucked me in. I fell in love with that book and with Amy Harmon too.

So, next book, A Different Blue comes out and it kicked my ass too. Both of those books are 5 stars and on my Best of 2013 list.

This book? Also 5 stars and on my Best of 2013. I don’t know that I can put how I felt into words. I will say that I cried when I finished this book. I sat on the sofa and cried because I finished it and because it was so good and I didn’t know what to do with myself.

Ms. Harmon weaves stories with silken threads and never fails to pulls me right in. I loved Fern, Bailey and Ambrose and my heart ached for each one.

For Bailey who was fighting so hard to live as full of a life as he could despite the cards he was dealt.
