Updated review 2018: This is a must-read book in the series, do not let the title fool you! It is not a "between the numbers" kind of story, it provides necessary and exciting backstory to the series so far and propels the s narrative forward.

This was the best book so far in the series! I love where the author takes it and how he weaves the past into the narrative. I almost skipped the "interlude" book but am so glad that I didn't!
