I have been a fan of Rock F ck Club since it started, and I loved getting a second glimpse at Jo and Gale. Jo especially grew so much in this story, she had so many things from her past to come to terms with. Gale did too, however, he was more mature than Jo in some ways, and I think that's partly because he had known love his whole life, from his parents, from his friends, and from other important people in his life.
The friendship between Jo and her band was still strong, even as the action was mostly focused on Jo and Gale on a road trip. Through phone calls and important updates, Jo, Dolly, Lin and Lark kept in close contact to cheer each other on and just be there for each other. This is the girlpower aspect of this series that I have come to know and love so much!
Of course, the love story between Gale and Jo is the focal point, but all the other story arcs were so well done, too.
Towards the end, Gale and Jo met up with not only their own band mates, but other bands with Black Cat Records as well, and it felt like a reunion, even with the heavy backdrop that was a part of it.
Definitely recommend this one to everyone who loves a strong romance with female friendships that are true, and lots of hotness to boot.
