I got this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. I was not expecting the level of romance that is involved in this book it essentially a soul mate love at first site kind of romance. It isn't what this book is all about though the author has taken a unique concept and given us a rich story full of details, like able characters, and of course romance to swoon over. I was wrapped up in the job that Jade does as a karmic account enforcer, what a unique job to have, i like how her quirky best friend is all about her soulmate and of course i was all swoons over her soulmate once she finds him. I did like that their was not an instant happily ever after moment and that the relationship built nicely over the course of the story. You had the romance but you also had the meat of the detective aspect of the case that was needing to be solved. Very well done for a debut novel.
