In the many intriguing worlds created by Kelley Armstrong, we never spend nearly enough time with Nadia Stafford, so it was nice to get a new story, even if it was just a novella.

I really loved this story. It's not the same as a full Nadia story, but the core elements are still there. For the fans of this series, we get a return of all of our favorite characters, a brand new mystery with twists, a chance to see what Nadia and Jack have gotten up to after the series ended, and panic inducing adventure. And, as a bonus, we get Jack's POV!

For whatever reason, while I love Armstrong's heroines, I always love her heroes a little bit more, so I truly loved getting a peek inside the head of the forever laconic Jack.

New readers will be lost, but this is a must for fans of the series!
