Espresso Review of Snowed In

Give me a small-town setting and a hilarious set up and you will have me smiling. In Snowed In, Title introduces us to Maureen O’Connell ogling ice cream at the local supermarket after a bad breakup. She is not dressed to impress so of course a handsome, mouth-watering, Irish God decides to buy ice cream. Gavin Frasier could melt more than her ice cream and I adored their initial encounter. It made me giggle:snort causing those around me to stare. The tale that unfolds delivers humor in the form of banter and secondary characters. Gavin’s elderly next-door neighbor was a hoot. I hope I am having that much fun at her age. A snowstorm traps our couple, which led to some delicious heat. While we could have fallen into the insta-love trap, Title kept it real and I was quite happy with the outcome. Now of course I want to go back and read Kentucky Home and Home Sweet Home.
