Alpha by Nora Ash

Alpha (Alpha Ties, #1)

by Nora Ash

I’m his mate. That makes me his weakness.

A girl going into heat in the middle of a press conference, surrounded by Alpha politicians who didn’t plan to show the world their true, volatile nature? Causes a bit of mayhem.

Being the girl whose first heat made every mayoral candidate go into a rut on national television…?

I thought the utter humiliation sucked—that losing my job for something out of my control was as awful as it got.

I was wrong.

He came from the shadows. Told me I belong to him. And then… Then he showed me exactly what that means.

But powerful as my Alpha suitor is, his ruthless possessiveness might be the ruin of us both.

I am not a trinket. I am not a thing to own. And I will never surrender.

Alpha is the first book in Nora Ash’s suspense-filled Omegaverse series, Alpha Ties. Each book is a full-length novel with a complete romance storyline.

This series gets dark, and it gets dirty. If you don’t enjoy your romance scorching and your alphas rough & dominant, give this book a pass.

Please note: This book is the compiled version of Nora's previously published Omegaverse serial, Alpha. It contains the installments Alpha: Taken, Alpha: Masquerade, & Alpha: Mated.

Alpha is definitely one of my favourite Omegaverse books.
Originally released as three novellas, this book is the compiled version of Nora's previously published Omegaverse serial, Alpha. It contains the instalments Alpha: Taken, Alpha: Masquerade, & Alpha: Mated.

This was my introduction to Omegaverse way back then, and I absolutely loved them.
When I heard that trilogy was being re-released as one big book I was ecstatic!

The story takes place in Mattenburg, which is a city where the population has a lot of "rules" for Alphas and Omegas. It's not the common dystopian setting we are used to and the citizens of this city even talk about how they are more civilized than other places, how they have conquered their instincts etc.
It's a very interesting idea!

Alpha starts our reporter Omega, Leigh and our Alpha, Peter who is a politician.

We set off with a BANG and Peter sets off Leigh's hormones, which she's very much in denial about because she's slightly prejudiced about Alphas and what it means to be an Alpha's mate. Hehe.

The book is super hot and Peter and Leigh are wonderful together.

One of the things I really liked about this world is that females aren't really called "Omegas", they are just women, but they are still Omegas and have the same responses to the Alphas etc. But I liked that they weren't labelled, that was a bit different than what I normally read. :)

This was 5 superstars from me! And I can't wait to read more of this world! :D
