Remembrance is the third book in the Quantum Faith Effect series. I've read the first two books and really learned to love main character Josh. He is a likable teen trying to do the right things, even though he is going through many hard things in his life. Josh this time is recovering from what recently happened at his high and his teachers being fired and arrested for drug dealing with the high school basketball team. Now life is better and Ester is his new girlfriend and Christmas time is coming soon. Of course something else happens which shakes his world and that of his friends. The school district decides to pull the song the “Hallelujah Chorus” from the school's Holiday Gala. This 80 year tradition is something that more than half of the school's student body is fully wanting and sad it has been taken away. Josh has to decide to stand up and take charge of leading a movement to petition to bring the song back to the gala. As all of this is going on Josh is starting to go to church with Ester and finding answers to his quest of whether or not God is real from Pastor Brown. A few more trips into the Loom also help him develop Faith in God and his son Jesus Christ.

I really liked how fast paced this third book was. Everything that was happening in the story quickly pulled you in and fully hooked you into reading about Josh's journey. I loved as he traveled through the life of George Frideric Handel in the Literary Loom. I have sung the songs from The Messiah many times in my life and have always gotten chills while singing them, especially the Hallelujah Chorus. To find out how this musical masterpiece came about was a humbling experience and made me appreciate it even more. Another aspect I loved about this third book was how Josh moved more out of his comfort zone, and stepped out to help others in need, like the strange kid Zane and Josh's girlfriend Ester. By helping them, he grew also and found what he was looking for in his life. There is one point that he wants to back down from doing something hard but Josh tells himself, "Remember all those reasons this needs to be done." Don't we wish all teens would learn how to be less selfish and more giving? We all learn how to do this from experiences and this story gives Josh many chances to learn.

My favorite parts of the book of course come at the end and I can't tell you about it or it would give everything away. Let's just say it has a lot to do with music, God's love and family love. It was a wonderful ending to this series. It was refreshing to read a series written for teens that had a Christian theme running through it. I'm going to have my 14-year-old son read this series next. Author Carolyn Twede Frank has written a book that will definitely touch your heart, make you think about the important aspects of your life, and I know it will give teens the confidence to stand up for the right things in life. This third book gets 5 stars from me!
