I'll keep.my old review, but this was a lot better than I remembered. While I still didn't love the characters decisions, on re-read they made more sense. Feyre is never gonna be a favorite character of mine, but Rhysand makes up for her.
If I could give half stars, this would be 2.5 stars. I liked it marginally less than the first book, because there were just too many times I was rolling my eyes at every characters decisions.
I said it in my first review, that I feel like I've read about Feyre getting a lot of shit for her what she chooses to do in these books, but come on, everyone in this series makes poor choices. It's not just her. Let's be super honest about that, it is NOT just Feyre. Rhys makes terrible choices, Tamlin...well Tamlin's a forced narrative by the author, but he makes poor choices. None of it's smart.
And still, it was a fun read. I got through it quickly and didn't mind it at all. Sure I was eyerolling, but I was also laughing at times, smiling a lot, and genuinely interested in the story. So good on SJM for that.
Still not getting to the 3 star mark though due to all the stupidity.
