Why I Picked It Up: I was book bullied into Killing Floor by a co-worker. She told me I’d love the Jack Reacher novels and she was right! I’m hoping to get caught up with the series and picked up book number two.

What I Lurved: Child can write a kick ass suspense novel that will grab you from page one. He holds no punches and at times can be gory. Reacher is still an awesome supersmart protagonist. The plot line is not impossible but highly improbable. I was able to suspend reality and enjoy Die Trying.

What I Could Have Lived Without: There really wasn’t anything that I could have done without. Child did a great job with Die Trying. If there are any complaints, it’s simply that there were some pretty grandiose plot points. But that’s why I read fiction. :)
