A Farewell to Charms (Princess for Hire, #3)

by Lindsey Leavitt

I was admittedly surprised by this book. I expected a much quicker happily ever after and then, you know, stuff after that...

But it's still sweet and it's still fun and it's a different sort of happily ever after than I thought but it was good. And I like having seen Desi grow through the series. I loved Meredith questioning her after its said and done whether she really wanted Caprice to have her magic just so she could return to Facade. Desi has these great ideas but is still a 14-year-old girl who sometimes can't see beyond a small box. I liked that adult perspective added to the adventure.

And, admittedly, I didn't quite love Reed and Desi as much as I wanted to. But I liked a lot of the supporting players more so it was still a fun story.
