This was possibly my favorite issue for the series so far. It was so much fun seeing Shuri and Iron Man working together. And their solution was…interesting. It may not have been terribly nice to that one guy…but it’s not like he didn’t deserve it or anything. So I guess they get a pass?
I love the constant struggle Shuri has been having with taking up the Black Panther mantle. I love that she wants to be her own person, while also not wanting to feel like she’s giving up on her brother. Those ideals are in conflict with the ideals of her culture, as well as the requests she’s been getting. It’s been interesting to see the clashing that has occurred because of it.
