Another interesting issue for Uncanny X-Men. I’m still so happy that I impulsively picked up the series (I was hesitant at first, since I haven’t read all of its predecessors, but now I’m thinking I made the right call).
Things are always more complicated than they appear. From the motivations of an antagonist to the way human nature works. It may seem like one can have a simple solution to a problem, but it’s almost always never the case. Just because you take away weapons from a group of people doesn’t mean it’ll stop the war – it’ll just change the way the war plays out. It’s a hard lesson to learn.
I’m really curious to see where this series is going to lead. I have some theories, and this issue just pushed those ideas further along the path. Regardless – I’m looking forward to seeing how they choose to have things settle.
