"Dreams aren't just for dreaming about."

Not the Marrying Kind is a fun and steamy opposites attract story about finding what you want where you least expected.

Fiona is determined to find a husband by her thirtieth birthday and has a plan, spreadsheets, and a contract to herself of how everything will work. Max returns home to help his Pop try to save his business. When Max sees Fiona he tries to get her to have some fun while he is in town but she turns him down. Once they start working together to save The Red Room both start to feel things they have never felt before but neither is right for the other or are they exactly what each other needs?

Max and Fiona were so fun to read about. The bad boy with the heart of gold and the good girl with the secret wild side. The flirting and sexual tension between them gave the story a bit of an unexpected but enjoyable edge. I liked the side characters and their bantering with the main characters. This fun page-turner was my first book by this author and it will not be my last.

"Guess you're right about that. I'm the best bad decision you'll ever make, Fiona. And that's a promise."
