Fun, fluffy quick reads all the way through. It does get formulaic and all, so you either love it or you'll get bored as you go through the series as it's basically the same story over and over.

Superheros really do suck at hiding their secret identities and you'll still figure it out before any of the characters. A tad grating and I've probably highlighted every "coincidence" with a snappy note but not enough to stop reading. There's enough going on to keep me interesting.

I've tried romance series that follow a different couple every time before and didn't make it through. I chalk that up to Estep and the paranormal urban aspect: battles with ubervillians. And the women are resourceful at rescuing themselves (with and without powers!) which makes me happy.

The sex is that perfect, novel type but ehhh, escapism. Plus it was interesting see how their powers came into play. Have to admit the teleporting was interesting and we do get a regular gadgeting joe in the 4th one. (but really, who's running in heels after sex?!? Esp. that good, you're ass should be passed out...lol!)

I enjoyed the series, and enjoyed reading it at work and getting paid to do it all the more XD (That's about the only way I can stick it to the man anymore *sigh*)

I do like her Elemental Assassin's series better and loved all the references to the Pork Pit. Get it, Gin!
