This is book 2 in The Book of Deacon trilogy. Myranda Celeste, a young orphaned woman is our protagonist. In book one, she travels alone in her world where a war has been raging for almost a century. She finds a sword, meets mystical creatures and travels to a world called Entwell. Here she learns elemental magic and hears the prophecy of the five chosen, who will save her world and end the war. In this book, she leaves Entwell in search of the chosen. This epic quest, will keep you up late as you are drawn into her world and the battle against evil. While this novel is over 800 pages long, the story is so enchanting that you easily consume it within days. I am truly looking forward to the third installment. Book one is free for nook users, and books 2 and 3 are under 3.00. These are books i would have gladly paid full price to read.
