I loved this book! Gage is such a great character, the kind with hidden depths that beg to be explored. I've been hoping for a story based on him and I got it with Deadhead. Daisy, too, was a character that inspired so many emotions. The dynamic with her father was so bizarre, so provocative in an angry sort of way. There were moments I just wanted to leap through the screen of my book and tackle him. But then the plot twist... OMG. I did not see it coming, but I absolutely loved it. It went to a place I never imagined, and I loved the ride there! And the ending? It just seemed right for Gage, and I was there for it.

Kayt has such an innate way of creating characters that seem so visceral, so real. Whether you love or hate them, you feel, and intensely. The dynamics are always interesting, always changing, and it's made me a fan of all her books!
