Read this book for school.

Mrs. Bridge is truly a woman of her time. She doesn't ask a lot of questions and wants people to follow the status quo and not to venture at all from it. As her children got older she spent a lot of time alone, and didn't really seem to have any connections with anyone sadly. She just seemed to go through the motions really and live life like her parents had wanted her to.

Overall this book was okay. It was interesting to see the time period and how strict some people were. But I also found myself getting so frustrated with Mrs. Bridge because of what she was doing or not doing in certain situations.
