I adore Melissa’s books and I couldn’t wait to read the last book in this series.
This book follows the last of the Lacroux siblings, Matt. Matt is the serious one. Matt was never one to play the field like his brothers. As soon as he finished school he went to college and he always knew he wanted to be a Professor. However after watching all his siblings fall in love Matt’s not sure that is still what he wants. Matt takes a sabbatical and returns to seaside for the summer.
Matt first met Mira at his brother Grayson’s engagement party. They hit it off straight away but living so far apart and with Hagen to think about too Mira and Matt were scared to cross that line. I love Mira and I really admire her. She has been through a lot and she has come out of it so much stronger.
I adored this story. It was a sweet romance without the unnecessary drama. I cannot wait to return for the Bayside series that I know Melisa has in the works.
