Erin Leaf continues to blow my mind. I've read so many of her books, and I've never been disappointed. They're well written, character driven, exciting, and very sexy.

In "Bitter Bite", we meet Gideon who is a former priest. He's lost his faith and is just drifiting through life, being a bouncer at a gay bar, being in love with Hannah, a bartender. They stay away from each other. They're both damaged, and they don't want to taint each other. It's heartbreaking, actually. Soon, Gideon and Hannah find themselves in a dangerous situation, thanks to Alaric...and beautiful vampire. Alaric is being chased by an evil entity. He needs kill it before it kills him. Oh, and did I mention that Alaric has discovered that Gideon and Hannah are his fated consorts?

They all have an instant and powerful chemistry.

No more. I refuse to give anything else away. This story has a bit of everything that I love...paranormal, of course, and action, danger, a unique plot, and well...hot MMF sex/romance. This isn't your Mama's romance, though. It's very intense. There's a feeling of urgency, but there's also some angst. These three people NEED each other to be complete and to be safe.

My signature phrase is, "I can't even". I say it when I feel overwhelmed by things, whether it's a cute kitten video, a breathtaking sunset, or the cast of Magic Mike doing their little dances. When I read, "Bitter Bite", I must have said it twenty times. There were lots of surprises and twists that I didn't see coming, and that's hard to do. I usually catch on very quickly to everything, and I love it when I get gobsmacked.

I cant recommend this book enough. It's damn near perfection. I'm so glad to have read it. Erin Leaf is the bomb...and I can't even.
