I never pass up these books. Every time, though, I think "Seriously, this is kind of an abusive relationship". The men are boorish at best but really, if you think about their behavior and actions, it would freak you the eff out in real life.
So, if I put that aside, and take this for the fiction it is, this is a short, typical Neighbor from hell book. Idiot Bradford male with no emotional IQ decides threats and kiddnappings are the only way to determine if the poor, sap of a girl is 'the one'.
