This series was not perfect because the world building still needs more polishing, the romance developed too fast for my taste, and the plot became a little bit simplistic as the series progressed. The latter became too straightforward and it couldn't have hurt with a little twist here and there.

What's really fun about this series is the fact that the heroine has to pretend that she's a boy for most of the time.I can only wish that the author used such opportunity to make the story more interesting.

Anyway, I also have to mention that I applaud the author for creating a magical system that's understandable but not simplistic. I was glad that there was a balance in everything.

I wish I could write more about this series but seriously, I am more of a reader than a reviewer right now and I still have a lot of books that I need to read before March ends. XD
