I was intrigued by the blurb when I originally saw this book on Amazon.com. A book about Judas Iscariot....Jesus Christ's betrayer. The most hated person on Earth. So, I got the book and I wasn't let down.

The premise of the book was great. Judas (aka William Barrows) is looking for the 36 shekels that was paid to him to betray Jesus. Because of that betrayal....he was made immortal. Nothing can kill him. Nothing at all. So far, he has collected 21 coins and he is on the search for the 22nd.

Around the same time he figures out where the 22nd coin is, he is approached by the CIA and asked to do a covert mission. He agrees, since it was going to be in the same area and talks his son, Alistair, into going with him. Here's the thing.....Alistair is old enough to be his father and they often play it off to their advantage.

Once they touch down in Iran.....all holy hell breaks loose and the story really gets going.

I gave the book 5 stars of Shelfari and Goodreads. This book was a great read and I loved the twists and turns in the plot. When the 2nd book come out for the Kindle (if it hasn't already), I will be getting it.

Will I reccomend this book to friends and family. Yes, definitely.
